Ahura Theme — Complete User Guide
From installation and demos to Elementor and all customizer options
This guide is for site owners who install and use the Ahura theme on WordPress.
1. Getting Started
Requirements
You need a WordPress site (version 5 or higher). For the best experience, install Elementor and WooCommerce if you need a shop.
- Elementor (free) — Required for custom header/footer, single and archive templates, and demo import.
- WooCommerce — Only if you need a store. The theme has full WooCommerce support.
Installing and Activating the Theme
- In the WordPress admin, go to Appearance → Themes.
- Click Add. If you have the theme zip file, click Upload Theme, choose the file, then Install Now.
- After installation, click Activate.
Right after activation you may be redirected to Ahura Studio. You can activate your license and import a demo if you like, or go straight to Appearance → Customize to start configuring.
Where to Change Settings
Almost all theme options are under Appearance → Customize: Style, Header, Menus (under Appearance → Menus), Blog, WooCommerce, Portfolio, Pages, and Footer. Always click Publish after making changes.
2. Ahura Studio and Demo Import
Ahura Studio is where you set up the theme and import demos. From the admin menu, go to Ahura → Studio.
License Activation
The activation system is smart. From the Ahura License page or Studio, click Activate and follow the steps; you don’t need to enter the key manually elsewhere. Without a valid license, demo import is not available.
Changing License Domain
After activating a license, you can use the same license on another domain. Steps:
- Go to your User Panel and click Licenses.
- Find the theme or plugin you purchased.
- Next to the site URL you want to remove from the license, click the × button. That site is deactivated and you can activate the same license on a new site.
One license cannot be used on two sites at once. Deactivating a site’s license disables support and updates for that site.
Importing a Demo
After activation, the list of demos is shown. Each demo is a pre-designed site. Click the demo you want and follow the import steps.
- Choose a demo from the list (filter by category if available).
- Click the demo. You’ll usually see options for what to import.
- Common options: Settings (Customizer), Widgets, Media, Content (posts/pages), After import (e.g. set homepage and menu). Select what you want and run the import.
- Wait for the process to finish. Large demos can take several minutes. Don’t close the browser.
- When done, the homepage and menu may be set automatically. Check the site and adjust in the Customizer or Menus if needed.
If you already have content, you can import only Settings and Widgets to get the demo look without replacing posts and pages.
During import you can enable the Clear all content option. Using it is optional.
Changing the Installed Demo
To switch to another demo, go to Ahura → Studio and choose a new demo. That’s it 🙂

You can enable Transparent header and Transparent logo. Set the logo (image, text, mobile, dark mode) and its alignment in this section.
Under Header → Sticky Header: sticky header (on by default), show on scroll up, sticky on desktop only, hide menu on scroll. For style 1, choose menu position in sticky header (top, center, bottom, or hidden).
If needed, assign a menu to Header sticky menu under Appearance → Menus.

Search
Under Header → Search: remove search box, set placeholder and icon color; product search; AJAX search (style 1 only) with result count and background opacity; result font color and size can also be set.
